Gillingham St Michael’s Primary School may be small but the learning experiences are huge!

The school has maximised the site to be able to offer interesting outside learning such as a large pond, an interesting ‘enchanted garden’, a Willow Tunnel, play equipment, lots of PE equipment, a vegetable garden, an outside classroom and a large Foundation Stage area.

Inside visitors are surprised to find two large well equipped classrooms, a lovely hall with a nice range of gymnastic equipment, a library and other smaller resource rooms. Each class has access to a trolley of 16 laptops as well as other interesting IT equipment such as cameras and visualisers. The school are always on the lookout for new ways to use their video conferencing facilities. We have a lovely range of resources for things like music, RE and art/DT.

We are very fortunate to have our meals cooked onsite.
