On behalf of the children, governors and staff, welcome to the website of Gillingham St Michael Church of England Primary Academy.
Gillingham St Michaels Primary School and Ditchingham Primary School share one Executive Head Teacher and one governing body. Together they make up The Kingfisher Partnership.
Each school has a separate head of school and they support the executive headteacher. The school has mixed aged classes catering for pupils from Reception through to Year 6 serving several of our local villages.
The Kingfisher Partnership works under the Diocese of Norwich education umbrella they provide us with strategic and moral support and allow us to share best practice, pool resources, invest in teacher training and develop school and subject leaders. Both schools are open to families of any religion, and of none, we are here to serve the local community. A Christian ethos sets the culture of the schools, but the approach is very much one of inclusivity.
At Gillingham St Michaels Primary School we create a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment for all children, aiming to ensure that children enjoy school and develop the love of learning. Through partnership with parents and the community we will help children reach their full potential and flourish.
We take Pride in the successes and achievements of everyone in our school and we all share a responsibility to make it the best place it can be we encourage aspiration, creativity, dignity, friendship, love and respect which shape the education that young people in our schools receive.
